Starting in the heart of Burford, often referred to as the 'Gateway to the Cotswolds', you'll love the town's quaint, honey-colored stone buildings and medieval bridge. The high street, lined with boutique shops, traditional pubs, and cozy tearooms, sets the perfect tone for a great pub walk.
As you leave Burford and follow the River Windrush, the landscape becomes a tranquil haven of rolling meadows and gentle hills. The river itself, clear and babbling, is flanked by willows and wildflowers, creating a relaxing atmosphere that feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
