Stanton Walk - The Mount Inn

This is a lovely Stanton walk which starts in one of the prettiest villages you will find in the Cotswolds.

A visit to Stanton in Gloucestershire is like stepping back in time to a quintessential English village. Stanton is nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds and is renowned for its charming thatched cottages, golden limestone buildings, and tranquil, unspoiled atmosphere.

The stanton walk explores the beautiful surrounding countryside where you can enjoy woodland, valleys and wonderful views from the hilltops, which can reach as far as the Black Mountains on a clear day.

This walk also takes you up Shenberrow hill for more great views over the Cotswolds. Please be aware that this is a hilly walk so you will need plenty of energy.

There is also a lovely pub in Stanton called The Mount Inn if you need to recharge with a bite to eat or drink.
